Welcome to the website of Just Spex. My name is Paul Weston. I started in optics in the 70's.

I had a manufacturing company whose business it was to make up prescription glasses for most of the independent opticians in the locality, and as far afield as Fishguard, Pembroke, Newport and Cwmbran.

With the constant advancement in technology and the emergence of new optical outlets offering a "one hour service", it became necessary for the independent opticians to make up their glasses "in house", removing the need for the service I provided.

It was then that I realized my opportunity to move into the retail side of optics where my aim is to give you, the customer, a fast, friendly service at a price, I believe, can't be beaten.

- You don't have to buy your glasses where you have your eyes tested.

I believe I can supply your glasses for less than anyone else. I don't employ opticians and so I can pass the savings onto you!
